All work without play makes John a dull boy so they say, for this reason the college has various sports activities to keep student physically and mentally fit. There is a football pitch for soccer games, basketball court, netball, pool and table tennis. Over weekends the college hosts sports activities by inviting other institutions and also students go out regularly to other institutions to participate in various sports disciplines. The student Union body also hosts welcoming parties for first year students every semester and farewell parties for graduating students including modelling competitions. They are also excursions organised by students to visit different areas such as Shiwang’andu house in Chinsali, hotsprings and historic paintings in Mpika district.
